For Silks Sake Classes & Workshops
For Silks Sake classes are designed to be flexible to allow your creativity and style to shine through!
Classes aim to enhance textile painting, surface design and dyeing through education and informing students of trends within the artform.
Class sizes are kept to a minimum to allow for individual programmes designed to suit your goals and skill levels, ensuring your experience is fantastic.
One-on-one private lessons are available featuring individual attention to your needs and times are flexible. Perfect for busy people and great value for money!
No experience is necessary to take part and beginners and accomplished artists alike are welcome.
For Silks Sake offers the following classes:
- Private lessons (2 hour minimum, time of day or night negotiable)
- One off day classes (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 9.30am - 1pm, flexible arrangements)
- Long courses for adults (10 weeks, Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 9.30am - 1pm, flexible arrangements)
- Short courses for busy people (5 weeks, Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 9.30am - 1pm, flexible arrangements)
- HSC tuition for student major works
- Teens' parties 12-14 years (Sat morning packages)
- Saturday workshops - only 4 left in 2010!
Visiting artists will show students different techniques that enhance their skills and experience. Excursions to museums and textile exhibitions are a great educational and social outing and many friendships have been forged in the studio!
You will finish your course with a real appreciation for silk art and some fabulous works of your own creation! Contact us for more information.
